Nick was a really good friend even though I live in France, distance was never a problem. My family is from Hawaii and we shared the love of that beautiful place. We could chat for hours and he would always give me good advice on life, on love, on music and work, on why I should be proud of myself... I recorded a youtube video for him cause he loved Aimee Mann and he offered me her CD. The song is called Save Me. Rest In Peace, Nick. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vd5vokgMR-k

Nick was a very close friend for almost a decade. He was a special man with positive encouragement, strong determination and thoughtful heart. When I was in NY this past June he informed me of his illness but downplayed it as we all would expect. I had high hopes it was under control as he said to me they were creating a new organ for him through his own stem cells. My condolences to all of his family during this difficult time. My prayers are with you. God bless and may Nick, God rest his soul, be in peace.

I really enjoyed knowing Nick. I initially met him as I babysat first just the boys & then eventually all 3 kids. Later, I planned extra time to pick up my prescriptions as Nick was also my pharmacist & I always enjoyed talking to him & hearing his stories. I am sorry for your loss & hope your memories bring you some comfort.
