Daughter of the late Leo J. and Beatrice (nee Scudder) Moore, Mary was a 1983 graduate of the Dover High School and was later graduated from the Dover Business College. She had worked many years as a Teachers Aid and Lunch Assistant in the Canfield Ave. School Mine Hill, NJ and more recently as a Medical Assistant with Gastroenterology Associates Dover, NJ. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many, Mary enjoyed gardening and spending time with her dogs.

Mrs. Applegate is survived in life by her beloved husband Leon V. Sr., her daughters Amber, Lea and Hannah as well as her sons Leon Vincent “Vinnie” Jr., and Lucas. Also surviving are her five grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters.

A memorial celebration of Mary’s life will be held Sunday August 26, 2018 at 1 PM in the Dover Moose Lodge #541 #21 Sammis Ave Dover, NJ.
