Son of the late Elby S. and Cecil (nee Davidson) Arnold, Donald proudly served in the United States Army during the post Korean War where he learned his mechanical skills. He had worked with Holland Manufacturing in Succasunna and later began a long and wonderful career with Levolor Blind Co. of Rockaway where he worked until his retirement.

Mr. Arnold was active in his senior community, enjoying many road trips as well as being a social and giving friend to many. He also enjoyed working with his hands, tinkering and solving a challenging jigsaw puzzle. Donald will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In 2011 Arnold was predeceased by the love of his life Eva Pheffer. He is survived in life by his sister Christine Walters, his niece Sondra Church as well as his cousin Lucille Chrispell.

Visitation will be held Monday October 18, 2021 from 1-3 PM in the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave. (Rt. 46) Dover, NJ. Interment and Military Honors will be held Tuesday October 19th at 12:30 PM in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery #350 Provinceline Road Wrightstown, NJ.
