Son of the late Wilbur and Dolores (Slicz) Babcock, David was a talented artist who enjoyed writing poetry as well as a novel he was currently working on. He also enjoyed drawing, especially dragons. A Black Belt in Jujitsu and a body builder, David was very dedicated to physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

Mr. Babcock had worked for Colgate Palmolive, and was currently a Shift Leader for the Thomas & Betts Corp. Hackettstown, NJ. A loving and devoted husband, father, brother and uncle, David will truly be missed.

David was pre deceased by an infant brother Gary in 1962, and two sisters Debbie Houghtaling in 2008 and Pam Panowicz in 2013. Survivors include his beloved wife Gabriela (Flores), his daughters Kyra Babcock of Lake Hopatcong, Bianey Sanchez and Brayden Babcock both of Dover, his sisters Cindy Sweller of Sussex, Connie Bennett of Palm Bay, FL, Judy Birchenough of Sussex and Lori Devens of Wantage, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held in the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church #4 Richards Ave. Dover, NJ on Tuesday March 29, 2016 at 5:30 PM.
