Daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Lezak) Hessek, Dorothy was born in Denville, NJ, where she lived her entire life before moving to Franklin in April. Active in her community, Dorothy attended St. Mary’s RC Churches in both Denville and Dover, NJ and was a member of the Regional Day Center and Denville PTA.

Survivors include her loving husband Andrew Bartek, her sons Andrew Jr. and his wife Jen of Rockaway, NJ, Joseph A. of Denville, Matthew R. and his fiancé Andrea M. Costello of Budd Lake, NJ, her daughters Cheri A. and Jason Holland of Ogdensburg, NJ and Margo F. Bartek of Frankford Twp, NJ. She is also survived by her brothers Joseph and Ellie Hessek of Georgia and Robert and Karen Hessek of Selinsgrove, PA and her three grandchildren Kayla Byerley, Deanna M. Costello, and Anthony A. Holland. She was predeceased by her brother Daniel Hessek and her sister Kathy McKenna.
