Bialaszek, Richard B. age 68 of Stanhope, NJ died December 17, 2015 at the St. Claires Hospital Dover Campus following a long illness. Born in Pittsburg, PA he had resided in Mt. Arlington and Hopatcong for many years before moving to Stanhope seventeen years ago.
Son of the late Chester and Irene (Dombrowski) Bialaszek, Richard had proudly served in US Army Reserves during the Vietnam War. He had a long career as a Union Machinist for the Colgate Palmolive Corporation Morris Plains, NJ until his retirement in 2012.
Mr. Bialaszek was pre deceased by a sister Denice Bialaszek as well as three grandchildren Cory, Dylan and Alexander Bialaszek in 2003. Survivors include his beloved wife Sharon (Johnson) at home, his son Jonathan M. “Bub” of Baltimore, MD, his daughters Dawn M. Bialaszek also of Baltimore and Jacqueline A. Bialaszek of Stanhope, NJ. Also surviving are his grandson Sean M. Bialaszek, his sister Bernadette and her husband Paul Rosenberger as well as his special friend Carmen.
Visitation will be held Saturday January 2, 2016 from 10 AM to 12:00 PM immediately followed by Funeral Services at 12:00 PM in the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave. (Rt. 46) Dover, NJ. Interment will be private.
