A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and homemaker, Dorothy was active in Scouting, 4H, Girls Softball, Roxbury Blood Bank, Y.E.S of Roxbury, The VFW Auxiliary #2833 Kenvil, The Ever Young Seniors of Roxbury as well as the Band Parents of Roxbury High School.

Dorothy was pre deceased in life by her beloved husband Charles Sr. and her son Charles Jr. Survivors include her children Ronnie and his wife Margaret Cristi, Cheryl Cristi, Jill Ashley and her wife Eileen Byrne and Mark and his wife Dora Cristi. Also surviving are her seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren as well as the last surviving member of the Mickens family of Wharton; her sister Harriett “Midge” Boyer.

Visitation will be held Thursday January 31, 2019 from 1-3 and 6-8 PM with funeral services at 8 PM in the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home, One Baker Avenue (Route 46) Dover, NJ 07801.
