Danley, Phyllis J. age 67 of Dover, NJ died Saturday January 24, 2015 at the Saint Clare’s Hospital Dover Campus. Born and raised in Dover, she was a lifelong resident. Daughter of the late William K. and Alda (Cox) Danley, Phyllis was a Graduate of the Dover High School class of 1965. She was later graduated from William Patterson College receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Education.
Miss Danley had worked over forty years for the former KDI Corp. of Whippany, retiring as a Supervisor in 2013. An avid bowler, she also enjoyed crochet and knitting. Phyllis loved spending time with her family as well as the company of her pet “Buffy”. She was a special lady and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her sister Doris and her husband Paul Dermatis of Dover, her brothers William K. Danley of Wharton and Wayne R. and his wife Gisela Danley of Budd Lake. She is also survived by her nieces Allysen Adair, Jennifer Martinand, Lisa Rodriguez, Maria Dermatis and Alexandria Dermatis, her nephew Charlie Dermatis as well as her 10 great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday January 29th at 10:00 AM in the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave. (Rt. 46) Dover, NJ, Immediately followed by interment in the Locust Hill Cemetery Dover. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday January 28th from 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Eleventh Hour Rescue www.ehrdogs.org.
