
Doroba, Casimir
Doroba, Casimir age 80 of Mine Hill, NJ died Monday July 21st, 2014 at the Morristown Medical Center. Born in Poland, he came to the United States in 1949. After living in Clifton for many years, Casimir relocated to Mine Hill twenty-seven years ago.
Son of the late Stanley and Julia (Betnar) Doroba, Casimir proudly served in the United Sates Army just after the Korean War from 1956 to 1958. He worked thirty years as a Bus Driver for NJ Transit out of the Nutley terminal until his retirement. Mr. Doroba enjoyed animals especially his two dogs as well as being a serious automobile enthusiast. One of his regular pastimes was listening to the radio and Country music as well as the Weather Channel. A loving and devoted husband, father, sibling and uncle, Casimir will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Pre deceased by his sister Katherine Rogalski, he is survived by his beloved wife of fifty years Sophia (Dobek) Doroba. Also surviving are his son Mark and his wife Colleen of Ocean Twp., his niece Diane Socha as well as his three nephews Frank, Edward and Chester Rogalski.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday July 25th at 10:00 AM in the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church #345 South Main St. (Rt. 46) Wharton, NJ. Interment will follow in the St. Michaels RC Cemetery #120 Saddle River Rd. S. Hackensack, NJ. Visitation will be Thursday July 24th from 7-9 PM in the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave. Dover, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorials in Casimir’s name may be made to the American Heart Association www.heart.org.
