Garber, Rosemary Elizabeth
Garber, Rosemary Elizabeth age 66 of Staten Island, NY passed away Monday May 5, 2014 in Flagstaff, AZ. Born in Dover, NJ she grew up in Marcella, NJ and had lived in Staten Island for most of her life. Daughter of the late George and Marie (Derr) Will, she had worked many years as a secretary for Picatinny Arsenal. More recently she has worked as an interpreter for the Staten Island and Nyack Children’s Museum.
Rosemary was a devout member and President of the Sisterhood of Temple Emanu-El Staten Island, NY. She loved spending time with her grandchildren whom were her pride and joy. As well, Rosemary loved travel, spending time in Sedona, AZ and quilting. She also enjoyed skiing and telling stories.
Rosemary leaves behind her husband Larry, daughter Marisa, son-in-law Timothy Brown, son Matthew, daughter-in-law Jennifer, grandchildren Juliana, Ryan, Grayson & Madilyn.
Funeral Services will be held Friday May 9, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Temple Emanu-El #984 Post Ave. Staten Island, NY 10302. Interment will follow in the Locust Hill Cemetery Dover, NJ. Shiva from noon to 8PM Sunday, Monday, @ Larry’s, Tue @ Matt’s, Wed @ Marisa’s. In lieu of flowers please make donations to The Magic Foundation, or The Children’s Heart Foundation.
