Eda I. Giordano (Wharton, NJ) passed away peacefully in Lehigh Valley Hospital on 10/25/15 at the age of 63. Eda was born in Montevideo, Uruguay and came to the United States in 1975 where she worked at Thacher Glass in Wharton, NJ then Andover Nursing home as a CNA before starting her own cleaning business.
Eda was known for her humble, loving, and kind heart. She was special to many and without a doubt the community Mom, always willing to help anyone in need. She is very well respected and sincerely loved.
Eda is survived by Her children Adrian Giordano and wife Sarah Giordano of Archibald, PA, Daughter Karina Giordano of Old Forge, PA, and son Alejandro Giordano of Wharton, NJ. Grandchildren Jordan Giordano, Nasir Harris, Phillip Harris, and Aryanna Harris, and great-grandchild Logan Shumway. Her Siblings Daniela Pena, Norma Vazquez, Hector Vazquez, Walter Vazquez, and Miguel Vazquez, Mother Maria Rosa Vazquez and a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by Husband Jesus Giordano, Father Dorbal Vazquez, Brother Carlos Vazquez, and Sister Nilda Vazquez.
A prayer service by Rev. Luis M. Carrasquillo is scheduled for 11/07/15, 9am at Iglesia Alianza de Dover, 367 South Morris Street Randolph, NJ 07869.
