Daughter of the late Cornelius and Mary (Schneider) Vryhof, Marie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a member of Eagle Lake Assembly of God in Winter Haven, Florida. She was a talented seamstress, many times making dresses and such for family and friends. She was also an avid traveler who enjoyed attending various Elks Lodge functions with her late husbands and had enjoyed her life to the fullest.

Marie was pre-deceased by her husbands’ Horace W. “Bud” Tummey in 1993 as well as James J. Johnson in 2002. She was also pre-deceased by her daughter Diane M. Manning in 2002. Survivors include her son Dennis Allen and wife Teresa of Mine Hill, her step daughter Karen Storm of Winter Haven, FL, as well as her brother David Vryhof of Forked River along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial celebration of life will be held Thursday July 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Grace Church on the Mount #1500 Rt. 46 Netcong, NJ 07857. Arrangements are under the direction of the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home, One Baker Avenue (Route 46) Dover, NJ 07801.
