Her love for her mother, daughters and grandchildren was her main purpose in life. Gertrude was a family-oriented person that would do anything for her family. She treated her friends as her family. Gertrude loved family time and love to travel to many exquisite locations. If you were privileged to have known her you would know that when you went to her house, she would be putting something in your hand, or feeding you.

Gertrude leaves to mourn: Daughters Mrs. Carmen Wilbourn and Mrs. Deborah Clayton and son-in-law Neville Clayton. Also surviving are her grandchildren Gary Joyce, Quincy Stevens and wife Laura Stevens, Anieka and Ryan Clayton, her Great-grandchildren Shalan Joyce, Naiya and Laila Stevens as well as her Great-Great grandchild Micah Sisters Pheoby Roberts & Audrey Trant in Antigua and Shirley Davis in England, Gwendolyn Limerick (Deceased) and Chasidy Charity Henry (Deceased). Gertrude also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and very close friends around the world and too many to mention.

Limited visitation will be held Saturday morning March 6, 2021 from 9 to 10 AM with Funeral Services beginning at 10 AM in the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave. (Rt. 46) Dover, NJ.
