Son of the late John and Anna (Dirner) Knowles, James was a graduate of the Dover High School Class of 1967. A loyal and dedicated Truck Mechanic, Mr. Knowles had worked for the CRA Trucking Co. Landing, NJ for many years. James was also an avid motorcyclist.

Survivors include his sons John Travis of Anderson, IN and Shawn Casey of Great Meadows, NJ, his sister Anna Keuhn of Florida as well as his grandchildren Matthew and Nicholas Knowles of Anderson, IN.

Visitation will be held Thursday July 5th, 2012 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM in the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave. (Rt. 46) Dover, NJ. Private cremation services will follow.
