
Lauerman, Eveline
Lauerman, Eveline age 95 of Lake Hopatcong, NJ died Friday September 9, 2011 at the Friendship Health and Rehab center in Roanoke, VA. Born and raised in Lake Hopatcong, she had resided there all of her life.
Daughter of the late John D. and Sarah Jane (Tierney) Lauerman, Eveline was a graduate of the Roxbury High School class of 1934, and was later graduated from the Newark Junior College. A long time employee of the Township of Jefferson, she had worked as a clerk for the Tax Assessors office. Miss Lauerman loved spending as much time as possible at the Lake and enjoyed gardening and taking care of her home. Eveline was a generous philanthropist and supporter of the Lake Hopatcong Historical Society.
Miss. Lauerman was pre deceased by her siblings Leo Lauerman, Madeline Mason, Lorraine Rutter and Catherine Frost. Survivors include her nieces Connie and her husband Dr. James Walsh of Hilton Head, SC, Nancy Morrow of Ohio and Gail Nolan of Roanoke, VA. Also surviving are her many great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 14th, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home # 1 Baker Ave. (Rt. 46) Dover, NJ. Interment will follow in the Restland Memorial Park Cemetery E. Hanover, NJ. Visitation will be in the Funeral Home Wednesday one hour prior to the funeral.
