A loving and devoted husband, father, brother and uncle, Robert loved spending quality time with his cherished family. An ardent LA Lakers and Chicago Bears fan, Robert also doted on his dogs Winchester, Tali and Goku as well as his cat Burton. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his beloved wife Christina Marie (nee Twyford), his sons Robert J. III, Christian J. and Elijah D. Loretto all of Netcong and his Daughter Autumn M. Loretto of Netcong as well as her significant other James Sharabba of Randolph. Also surviving are his in-laws Dennis and Gloria Twyford of Hopatcong, his brothers James and his wife Kathryn Twyford of Hazlet, NJ, Ryan and Lucy Chrobak of Harwich, Mass., Michael and Bernadette Ontiveros of Stockton, CA, his sisters Kimberly and her husband Shawn Siegel of Hopatcong, NJ, Lauren Twyford of Hopatcong, Camille and Brandon Bien of LA, CA and Melissa De La Rosa of Joplin, MO as well as his nieces and nephews Dylan Marie Siegel, Ian Joseph Siegel, Kevin James Twyford, Juliana Marie Twyford, Kiara Marie Twyford, Luna Bien, Nova Bien and many more.

Visitation will be held Tuesday June 2, 2020 from 3-5 PM in the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave. (Rt. 46) Dover, NJ.
