An extensive world traveler, Jadwiga earned her Master’s Degree in Moscow, Russia and was a nurse aide at St. Clare’s Dover Campus. She took a lot of pride in her work. An avid reader, she also enjoyedsolving Sudoku puzzles.

​Predeceased by her husband and her father, she is survived by her son Bartosz Łuczyński, her daughter Marta Łuczyńska, mother Helena (Łuczak) Szymańska, and her brother Dariusz Szymański.
