Lugo, Walter J. age 57 of Wharton, NJ passed away unexpectedly Tuesday at the Chilton Medical Center Pequannock Twp., NJ. Born in New York, NY he lived there for twelve years before moving to Bergenfield, NJ. He had also lived in Connecticut before returning to NJ.

A graduate of the Bergenfield High School class of 1981, Walter was the owner of the Advantage Wildlife and Insect Services of Lincoln Park, NJ. A loving and devoted husband, father, son and brother, Walter enjoyed his aquarium and taking care of his tropical fish. He was predeceased by his father Jose E. Lugo in 2005.

Survivors include his beloved wife Milena (nee Alvarez) Lugo, his sons Curtis Lugo of Paterson, Brandon Lugo of Lodi and Nelson Lugo of Hagerstown, MD. Also surviving are his mother Carmen (nee Soto) Lugo of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, his brother Marvin Lugo of Denver CO, as well as his nieces Caitlin and Hanna Lugo and his nephew Max Lugo.

Visitation will be held Monday April 26, 2021 from 5-8 PM with Funeral Services beginning at 8 PM in the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave. (Rt. 46) Dover, NJ.
