Maiorca, Charles K. of Dover, NJ passed away peacefully at home with his loving family at his side on Saturday, October 15, 2016. Born in Newark, he grew up and had lived most of his life in Newark and North Newark before moving to Dover five years ago.

Son of the late Charles Angelo and Lena (Venezia) Maiorca. Charles was a Cameraman in the Graphic Arts Industry and a successful business owner of Ad Photo and The Type Gallery in Newark for many years. He also worked as a Bartender at Picolo Italia Restaurant in Orange, NJ as well as Pavinci’s in Hopatcong. He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and NYC, as well as a good meal with family and friends. He loved listening to music, specifically the oldies. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and family.

Mr. Maiorca was pre deceased by his sister Sandra Albanese in 1998. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years Catherine F. (Williams), his daughters Corie A. and her husband James Koba, and Amy C. Maiorca. Also surviving are his cherished grandchildren Jack, Joseph, Jessica and Christopher Koba, Gianna and Amaya Rosario, as well as son in law Carlos Rosario, his sister Cheryl A. and her husband Lenny Caruso and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday morning October 25th, 2016 from 10:30 to 12:30 PM in the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave. (Rt46) Dover, immediately followed by a memorial funeral Mass at 1:00 PM in the Sacred Heart RC Church, Richards Ave. Dover, NJ.
