Son of the late Domenico and Eufemia (nee DeFilippis) Masiello, Sam had a long career as an Electrical Technician with ADT of Clifton, NJ. He was also a member of the Electrical Workers Union. A talented and knowledgeable handyman, Sam enjoyed working with anything mechanical. He was a quiet and simple man who loved taking care of his home, garden and his family. Selfless in nature, Mr. Masiello would help anyone in need. Sam enjoyed watching sports especially the NY Yankees. Mr. Masiello was a very keen bargain hunter, a proud Italian who enjoyed the music of his generation but mostly Frank Sinatra.

Sam was predeceased by his beloved wife Concetta “Connie” (nee Baiamonte) Masiello whom he married in 1955 as well as his brothers Michael and John Masiello. Survivors include his son Domenick of Whippany and his daughter Marianne and her husband David DiRezze of Mountain Lakes. Also surviving are his cherished grandchildren Cristina and Marco DiRezze.

Visitation will be held Friday February 4, 2022 from 9 to 10 AM in the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave. (Rt. 46) Dover, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the Saint Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church #10 North Pocono Road Mountain Lakes, NJ. Entombment will immediately follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum Ridgedale Ave East Hanover, NJ.
