Mauro, Doris L. age 93 of Whippany, NJ died Saturday September 7, 2013 at the Morristown Memorial Hospital. Born in Roxbury Twp., NJ, she had resided forty years in Convent Station before moving to Whippany nineteen years ago.

Daughter of the late Henry and Sada (Stoll) Will, Doris was a graduate of the Roxbury High School class of 1939. She had worked many years for both the former Hercules Power Co. Roxbury as well as TDI in Cedar Knolls until her retirement in 1978. Doris was a member of the Pearl Chapter #79 Order of the Eastern Star Dover as well as a Member and Past Grand Chief of the Knights of Pythias Dover Chapter.

Doris was pre Deceased by two brothers George and Thomas Will as well as two sisters Harriet Stickle and June Loop. Survivors include her son Dale and his wife Margaret Mauro of Morristown, her daughter Katherine R. and her husband Andrew Plum of Mt. Airy, NC, her two grandchildren as well as her brother Henry Will of Succasunna and her sister Martha Salvesen of Dover, NJ.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday September 21, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave. (Rt. 46) Dover, NJ. Interment will immediately follow in the Locust Hill Cemetery Dover.

Visitation will be Saturday morning September 21st from 8 to 10 AM in the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Knights of Pythias Dover Chapter or the Order of the Eastern Star Pearl Chapter #79 Dover, NJ.
