McGuire, Evangeline
McGuire, Evangeline age 68 of Landing, NJ died Tuesday December 7, 2011 at the St. Clare’s Hospital Dover Campus. Born in Dover, NJ she had lived in Mt. Hope and Wharton for many years before moving to Landing forty years ago.Daughter of the late Otto and Lottie (Molson) Banghart, Evangeline had worked many years as a technician for the Douglas Engineering Co. of Rockaway, NJ until her retirement in 2006. Mrs. McGuire was pre deceased by her husband Benjamin McGuire in 1995.
Survivors include her sons George E. and his wife Shari Colwell of Tampa, FL, and Benjamin W. and his wife Bobbie Gene McGuire with whom Evangeline resided. Also her daughters Barbara A. Colwell and fiancé Mark Parno of Hackettstown, Darlene J. and husband Vincent Canfield of Newton, Evangeline M. and husband Steve Buckley of Netcong, Victoria A. and husband Kevin VanWinkle of Landing, and Diane M. and husband Eric Fleming of Pen Argyl, PA. Also surviving are her brothers Clarence Banghart of Hopatcong, Joe and his wife Carol Banghart of Hackettstown, and Willie Banghart of Philadelphia, PA, her sister Nancy Banghart of Philadelphia, PA as well as her nineteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday December 10th, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave. (Rt. 46) Dover, NJ. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Randolph, NJ. Visitation will be in the funeral home Friday Dec. 9th from 3-5 and7-9 PM.
