Catherine had worked for thirty five years for the Morris County Probation Dept. retiring as a Clerk in 2000. She was a former parishioner of the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church Wharton, NJ as well as a member of the Ocala Florida Light House Club.

Ms. Merring was pre deceased by her brother Francis Stefanic and her sister Irene Horan. Survivors include her sons Daniel of Hackettstown, Timothy of Dingmans Ferry, PA and Mark of Ocala, FL. Also surviving are her grandchildren Karen, Katherine, Amber, Laura and Mark Merring Jr. as well as her Great Granddaughter Ava and Daniel Moore due in September.
