Missbach, Helma D.
Missbach, Helma D., age 87 of Rockaway, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, June 27th, 2011 at the Regency Grand Nursing Home in Dover. Born in Kiel, Germany, Helma came to the United States in 1931. She lived in Cedar Grove then moved to Bernardsville, where she lived most of her life before moving to Rockaway 10 years ago. Daughter of the Late Anton and Else (Duchstein) Billerbeck, Helma was a loving and devoted homemaker. She generously volunteered at the Cat Shelter in Bernardsville, NJ. Helma was also a very talented decorator.
Predeceased by her parents and her husband, Edwin Missbach in 1998, Helma is survived by her sons, Kevin Missbach of Englewood, FL and Gary Missbach of Las Vegas, NV, and her daughters JoAnne Kevitz and Karen Missbach both of Rockaway, NJ. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Low of Warrenton, OR, as well as her four grandchildren, Syndy Kevitz-Furderer, Sandra Kevitz, and Austin and Sabrina Missbach. A Memorial Service for Helma will be held Sunday, July 10th, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the Trinity Lutheran Church on 123 East Blackwell Street in Dover, NJ.
