Morales, Jaime Enrique
Jaime Enrique Morales, 73 of Dover NJ, was granted his angel wings on October 6, 2011. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Jaime had touched in some small way throughout his very memorable life. He was born June 14, 1938 in Portoviejo, Ecuador and immigrated to the United States in 1964 arriving in Brooklyn, New York and finally moving his young family to Dover, NJ in 1974.Jaime was employed by Thatcher Glass manufacturing company in Wharton, NJ and later becoming self employed and starting an export business to Ecuador retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Lions club and several Hispanic social clubs in Dover. Jaime was an avid bowler both in Dover and Rockaway lanes, and won many trophies.
In his spare time Jaime enjoyed riding his various motorcycles and loved everything on wheels. The family loved to watch him play soccer locally. He loved music, dance and enjoyed food, his appetite never wavered even through his illness. He was always animated, the life of the party and his humor and smile were infectious. Style, fashion and personal appearance were important to Jaime, so much so the he even pressed his blue jeans. He was a warm, caring, selfless, generous, unique individual who was greatly loved by his family and will be terribly missed and forever remembered.Jaime leaves to cherish his memories wife and friend, Betty Morales; son, Jim M. Morales, Carlos Morales, Daughters; Jessica Nieves and Sussie Morales/Heller and four wonderful grandchildren; Austin, Andrew, Matthew and Adam and a host of family and friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday October 8, 2011 at 6:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 283 James Street Morristown, NJ 07960.
