Son of the late Segundo Bautista Navarrete Bermudez and Rosa Mercedes Bello, Segundo was a talented carpenter, cook, painter and also his love for dance. He always liked good food and a frozen cake. He also enjoyed music and had a passion for soccer, especially his favorite Ecuadorian team DelFin. His love for soccer led him to become a Soccer Coach. In 1993 and 1994, he and his team won First Place and Best Coach trophies.

Always a loving and dedicated family man, Segundo appreciated his family time, especially many cookouts. He was always available to help anyone in need and his busy personality made him the perfect man for the job.

Segundo died before his children, the girl Navarrete, María Monserrat, George Washington and Miguel Angel Navarrete. Also previously deceased by his brothers Juan, José, Marianna and Gloria Navarrete. Survivors include his beloved wife of forty-five years Alicia Leonor (née Rodríguez) Navarrete, his children Juan José, Carlos Albert, María Alexandra, Julio Cesar and Mayda Alejandrea Navarrete, his grandchildren Sonia Maricruz Navarrete, Jennifer Evelyn, Katelyn Nataly and Katherine Alexandra. August, his great-grandson Marcellus Lee and his brothers María, Eugenio, Magadalena and Aurora Navarrete.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave (Rt. 46) Dover, New Jersey. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 10 AM at Sacred Heart RC Church # 4 Richards Ave. Dover, New Jersey. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery in Dover.
