Son of the late Ambalal B. and Hansaben A. Patel, Thakorbhai was a Coffee Exporter, an Expert Coffee Grader and the owner of the Kenya Coffee Inc. Nairobi, Kenya from 1967 to 1990. Survivors include his wife Gita T. Patel of Denville, his son Jignesh T. and his wife Bejal Patel of Jersey City. NJ, his daughter Bhavini P. and her husband Parth Dave of Denville, NJ, His brother Mukes A. and his wife Amita Patel of London England, his sisters Ranjana K. and Kiran A. Patel of Randolph, NJ, Subha M. and Mahendra Patel of Bridgewater, NJ and Mira R. and Rajnikant Patel of Denville, NJ. Also surviving are his grandchildren Dylan, Dave and Kush Patel.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday May 17th, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave (Rt. 46) Dover, NJ, followed immediately by cremation services in the Locust Hill Crematory Dover, NJ. Visitation at the Funeral Home Thursday from 12:30 to 1:00 PM.
