Quevedo, Carmelo J.
Carmelo Jose Quevedo Tineo age 67 of Dover, NJ passed away Monday December 10, 2018 at Overlook Medical Center Summit, NJ following a brief illness. Born on July 16 1951 in Barrios Alto, Jr. Huamali en Lima- Peru, Carmelo was son of the late Vicente Quevedo and Carolina Tineo. Mr. Quevedo is survived by his beloved wife Tomasa Periche Castro who he married October, 30, 1970, his beautiful daughters Maria Susana and Monica Beatriz as well as his cherished grandchildren Walter, Jose Manuel, William and Leonela Nicole. Also surviving are his older siblings Pilar, Vicente and Carmela. He was pre deceased by his siblings Lucia, Carlos, Edelmira and Tito.
Carmelo love for his country Peru make him cry, sing and dance is was something that can’t be described. His favor soccer team was El Alianza Lima de Peru,
Carmelo was Catholic and his faith make him to follow and support La Virgen del Carmen and La Cruz del 3 de Mayo.
Carmelo will be missed and remembered for his delicious food (Ceviches, Arroz Chaufa, Polladas, etc.) Carmelo loved his música criolla, valses, and also he love to dance and sing. Mr. Quevedo will be always remember for his unconditional love and support to his family, friends and community and many more things. Rest in peace Carmelo Jose Quevedo Tineo from your Family and Friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday December 15th 2018 from 5 to 6:30 PM immediately followed by funeral services at 6:30 PM in the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home #1 Baker Ave. (Rt. 46) Dover, NJ.
