Betty M. Ridner of Lake Hopatcong, NJ passed away on August 14th, 2011. She attended Dover Schools graduate and worked as a factory worker for Swiss Knitting Mill in Dover, NJ and as school bus driver for Jefferson Township Schools. Mrs. Ridner was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the American Legion of Wharton (post 0091), she was also a den-mother to troop 111 of Lake Hopatcong in the 1970’s. In addition to her parents, David A. Sickles and Louise E. Truscott, Betty was predeceased by her husband of 49 years Alvin “Boots” Ridner. She is survived by her loving family; sons, Ricky A. and wife Joanne of Lake Shawnee, NJ, David A. and Linda of Cape Coral, FL, and Stephen M of Piketon, OH, 2 grandsons; Lucas of Lake Hopatcong, NJ and David Jr. of OH, 2 great-grandsons; Lucas Jr. and Kaycee, 1 sister, Doris Mills and her three daughters Linda, Robin, and Katherine. Mrs. Ridner is also survived by a niece, JoAnn Fleming and her 2 children Courtney and Lloyd Jr.
