Son of Myron Charles and Rose Lanterman-Smith. Michael worked as a gas station attendant at Bains Citgo Route 10 Succasunna for over 5 years, he enjoyed working as a roady for over 20 years with his two favorite bands – US Bandit and Rock Kandy. He loved professional wrestling, the WWE & the WWF. He was an avid sports fan, and he enjoyed walking all around town. Michael was thankful to all those who helped and provided care for him, especially his nephew Ryan Reed.

Michael is pre-deceased by his father Myron C. Smith and his beloved Foster parents Francis & Marjorie Denner, Jr. with whom he lived with since the age of 2 years. He is survived by his mother Rose F. Lanterman of Bloomsbury, PA. and brothers John Smith of Canada, George Smith of Parsippany, Frank Smith of Utah and foster brother Francis H. Denner III of Cortez, CO. he is also survived by his four foster sisters Melinda Kemp and husband Bruce of Rockaway, NJ Robin Denner of Succasunna, NJ Susan Snyder and husband Richard of Mohrsville, PA. Christina Reed of Sussasunna, NJ and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday December 23, 2016 from 6-7 p.m., Funeral services will follow immediately at the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave. Dover, N.J.
