Son of the late Chester and Catherine A. (nee Stefanic) Merring, Timothy was a parishioner and former student of Saint Mary’s Roman catholic Church and School. He was a talented handyman and tinkerer who could fix anything as well as being a skilled inventor. An avid dirt bike and quad rider, he loved hiking and exploring.

Mr. Merring was the owner operator of Tim’s Home Improvement Poconos, PA. He is survived by his daughters Karen Merring of Wantage Twp., NJ and Kathryn Merring and her husband Michael Oscata of Butler, NJ. Also surviving are his grandchildren Ava and Aubrey Oscata, his girlfriend Jessica Workman of Wilkes Barre, PA as well as his brothers Daniel Merring of Hackettstown, NJ and Mark and his wife Patricia Merring of Newton, NC.
