VanHook, Audrey age 91 of Oak Ridge, NJ passed away peacefully Tuesday August 22, 2017 at the Compassionate Care Hospice St. Clare’s Hospital Dover, NJ. Born in Paterson, NJ she had lived in Pequannock Twp. and has resided most of her life in Oak Ridge, NJ.
Daughter of the late Joseph A. and Lena (Myer) Stern, Audrey was a loving and devoted homemaker and a member of the Grace Church Oak Ridge, NJ. Ms. VanHook was pre deceased by a son Kenneth in 2013, her brothers William and Joseph Stern and sisters Elsie Martin, Anna Cole, Lena Simonek, Helen Stern and Rosina Cole.
Survivors include her loving sons Robert G. and Timothy VanHook, her beloved daughters Denise VanHook and Sandra Smith and her brother Charles Stern.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday August 24, 2017 at 11:30 AM in the Laurel Grover Memorial Park Cemetery #295 Totowa Rd. Totowa, NJ. Arrangements are through the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave. (Rte. 46) Dover, N.J.
