Williams, Hazel I. age 101 of Succasunna, NJ died peacefully Sunday May 29th, 2016 at the Sunrise of Randolph. Born in and raised in Wharton, she had resided in Dover, Mine Hill and Sussex Borough for many years before moving to Succasunna in 2011.

Daughter of the late Charles and Nellie (Furneld) Ridner, Hazel had worked as a Secretary for Picatinny Arsenal Dover, NJ from 1945 until her retirement in 1973. She was a long time and active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Berkshire Valley as well as the Church Lunch Bunch. Hazel was a member of AARP as well as being a warm and caring woman who lived a long and happy life.

Mrs. Williams was pre deceased by her beloved husband Edgar, her sister Mae Larison and her brother Charles “Bud” Ridner. Hazel has no immediate survivors but many friends.

Visitation will be held Friday June 3, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-8:30 PM with funeral services at 8:30 PM in the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave. (Rt. 46) Dover, NJ. Private interment services will be held in the Berkshire Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Berkshire Valley #635 Berkshire Valley Rd. Wharton, NJ of www.berkshirevalleypresbychurch.org.
