Daughter of the late Nicholas and Angela (D’Armiento) Tomanelli, Louise had worked many years as an Executive Secretary for Gordon Publications Morristown and Randolph, NJ until her retirement in 1988. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, Louise was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Edward C. Wood Sr. in 1996, her son Edward C. Wood Jr. in 2012, and her brother Michael R. Tomanelli, as well as her sisters Angelina, Camilla and Rose Tomanelli.

Survivors include her daughters Barbara W. Volker of Teaneck, NJ and Elizabeth R. McDonald-Mullins and her husband Kenneth Mullins of Wantage, NJ. Also surviving are her sister Antoinette and her husband Anthony Valdati of Glastonbury, CT, her grandchildren Jennifer, Amanda, Catherine Volker, David and Jason McDonald as well as her great grandchildren David, Erin McDonald, Carol and Joseph Loguidice, Julia Volker and Logan Volker-Perez.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church #204 Espanong Rd. Lake Hopatcong, NJ on Saturday April 23, 2016 at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in the Clove Cemetery Wantage, NJ. Visitation will be held Friday April 22nd from 3-5 and 7-9 PM in the Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home One Baker Ave. (Rt. 46) Dover, NJ.
